Yeastie Boys Digital IPA

India Pale Ale

11.2 oz

1 bottle

Product Description

Brewed initially for export to USA. A lmited amount of kegs were released in NZ as Motueka Warrior (as a part of the annual Motueka/Yakima collaboration with Liberty Brewing) The beer was then brewed for NZ, Aus and Italy under the Digital IPA label. It will be available throughout the southern hemisphere summer of 2011. NZ Bottle: This limited-release India Pale Ale (IPA) is an aggressive wee beast that is dedicated to our friend Joseph Wood of Liberty Brewing and to all those hopheads who love drinking IPA day in, day out. Just as the term digital is all about zeroes and ones, the concept of IPA is all about malts and hops. Enjoy the rich golden malt backbone of Digital while you can... then feel it closing in as the fruity Motueka-grown hops dominate your palate and dont ever fade away. IPA as it should be. This ale is open source - you may not be able to download the beer itself but feel free to grab the recipe at www.yeastieboys.co.nz.

Varietal: India Pale Ale

Region: New Zealand

Region Description:

Although it makes just one-tenth the wine of neighboring Australia, this country’s production is increasing every year. Its white wines are generally unoaked with pronounced flavor, rich texture, and high acidity. The South Island’s renowned Sauvignon Blanc is so distinctive that it can be compared to asparagus, limes, grass, or passion fruit. This region also excels in intense Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs. Cabernet Sauvignon grows well on the North Island, yielding an intense, berry fruit. There the Pinot Noirs are rich and the Chardonnays are soft and ripe but well balanced.
