Legend has it that our founder Benny Haskell, who was a bottlegger in the late 1920s & early 1930s had a "Rye Guy" up in Canada. During prohibition, Benny carved out a name for himself as having the BEST rye available in the Twin Cities! And because of this maybe even helped fight the battle in WWII. To pay homage to this great and mysterious "Rye Guy", we named this barrel after him.
