A family vineyard that has been passed down from father to son, Domaine Lafond strives to produce the best wines possible starting with the soil the grapes grow in.
Lafond's Tavel, a blend of Grenache 60%, Cinsault 10%, Syrah 5 %, Carignan 5% and Clairette, Picpoul, Bourboulenc, Mourvèdre, is not your typical Rosé. Vigorous and structured with aromas of strawberry, watermelon and spice, this wine can be paired with a porterhouse or BBQ just as easily as it can be with Snapper.
The dominant aromas are complex, red and white fruits mixing with floral tinges. With time these fruity aromas tend to turn more mellow, with touches of spices and kernel-fruits, while the color turns into amber tints.
