The Cascade Mountains are the dominant influence on the multiple micro-climates of the Northwest. These climates range from cool coastal, the perfect environment for Pinot Gris, to high desert where varietals from Riesling to Chardonnay thrive in the long growing seasons. The extended hang time of the fruit in this otherwise harsh environment is the key to the depth of flavors in the brilliant wines of this region. With the aid of the Big Rivers flowing off the east side of the Cascades, a once arid and stark landscape has blossomed into the exceptional vineyards of the Northwest.
"Enticing flavors of ripe peaches and apple-flavored juice with a honeyed sweetness that layers nicely throughout the glass. Give it a slight chill and enjoy with a soft cheese as an aperitif and matches well with sushi, steamed mussels and colorful spinach salads with fresh veggies." Winemaker's Notes
