In the 1940's, the Piattelli family immigrated to Mendoza, bringing with them a winemaking tradition from their native Tuscany. Their skill and passion continue to be the legacy behind this prestigious wine. Cool nights and consistently warm sunny days of the slopes of the Cafayate Valley (elev. 5,500 ft) combined with the arid, rocky soil of the vineyard render grapes that define the concentrated aromas and flavors that make this Torrontes an extraordinary wine. Softly oaked in new bnarrels for two months.
