Like playing poker with friends, the dealer chooses which game to share. In my case, the dealer chooses which wine to share with friends. For the 2008 vintage I chose the Terra A Lago vineyard in Alexander Valley. I love the play of blackberry and thyme aromas over the black cherry and toasty vanilla notes. This one is full of dense, rich tannins that should be great for years to come.
