Made with grapes grown in some of Californias most exclusive vineyards, Montevina Cabernet Sauvignon offers classic varietal characteristics like ripe cherry aromas, complex flavors, silky tannins and great age potential. But as distinctive as it is, its also friendly and unpretentious with plenty of wild currant and plum flavors, with hints of allspice and dark chocolate on the palate.
Varietal: Cabernet Sauvignon
California produces the majority of wine made in the United States. Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Zinfandel and Pinot Noir dominate the wine production in California, but many other varietials thrive in the California climate. Many fine wines are produced in California using Mediterranean grapes.
