Left Coast 'The Orchards' Pinot Gris

Pinot Gris/Pinot Grigio

750 ML

Product Description

Originally planted in apples by the settlers of Holmes Gap, this area was also the earlier home of pear and cherry orchards. The Orchards block is now dominated by Pinot Gris plantings and one singular majestic oak tree. The grey clay and drought-ridden soil conditions of this block lend a fresh fruitiness and ripeness to our Pinot Gris. The seedling volunteers from the original orchards can be seen in the meandering creek bed that lines the road leading to the winery. These are the apples we harvest to press our Settler Cider. Sorry, our Orchards Pinot Gris is sold out until next spring _________________________________ Left Coast Cellars - The Orchards Pinot GrisThe Orchards Pinot Gris Awards & Reviews Downloadable tech sheets and tasting notes 2012 The Orchards Pinot Gris Value Pick -Oregon Wine Press 2011 The Orchards Pinot Gris Best Buy -Wine & Spirits Value Pick -Oregon Wine Press 2009 The Orchards Pinot Gris 90 points, Best Buy Broad and fulsomeā€¦ the pear flavors are irresistible.
