Kilchoman is delighted to announce the release of Machir Bay, the first general release from the distillery. It will be available throughout 2012 and is a vatting of 3, 4 and 5 year old, matured in fresh bourbon barrels and finished in oloroso sherry butts for 8 weeks, 46% ABV.

\"Single Malt Scotch\" is generally associated with the higher end Scotch whiskeys, meaning its origin comes from one distillery and distilled in a pot still. The malt grain used is always barley in the case of a single malt Scotch.
