The name refers to the dramatic mountainous landscape of California, where the fog provides unique viticultural opportunities with a cooler microclimate and a longer growing season. Fog Mountain builds on Boisset’s environmental conscience with a range of organic, biodynamic and sustainable farming.
Vineyards
Fog Mountain’s California Cabernet Sauvignon was produced from select Cabernet grapes grown throughout California. The grapes are selected from vineyards that practice sustainable agriculture.
Vinification
After fermentation, the wine underwent 100% malolactic fermentation. The final blend was aged, partially in oak, for six months prior to bottling.
