The 2012 Fog Mountain Merlot was produced from carefully selected Merlot grapes grown throughout California. This Merlot is dark ruby in color with aromas reminiscent of raspberry jam with hints of lightly toasted oak. This wine is made in a fruit forward style exhibiting mouth filling black cherry, dusty chocolate, and just a touch of blackberry, finishing soft with ripe plum and delicate vanilla oak flavors.
