Located just ten miles from Bordeaux near the Garonne, the vineyards at Château Carbonnieux are situated on a rise in the land, on gravel-rich soils typical of the area. Château Carbonnieux is one of the classified Graves châteaux, and produces both red and white cuvées under the Pessac-Léognan appellation.
The grapes are gently pressed, barrel fermented and aged for 9 months in 25% new oak barrels. The result is a brilliant, crisp and focused wine with aromas of citrus with a full and elegant palate. The Sauvignon Blanc-Semillon blend pairs best with fish, oysters, seafood, white meat and citrus desserts.
