Tasting notes: December 24, 2002. Beautiful dark purple colour. The nose reflects the complexity and concentration. The fruit is immediately apparent and very pure. One finds a combination of black berries, raspberries with a touch of licorice and roasted almonds. In the mouth, the wine is full and voluptuous with a nice tannic structure. The tannins are powerful and ripe with a nice liveliness. The wine has a long and balanced finish. While the wine can be drunk today, it is also a wonderful wine for cellaring.
