A deep ruby red color that drifts to dark purple in your glass, our Black's Station Red Blend packs complex aromas of raspberry, cocoa and baking spices. This bold wine offers an explosion of black cherry, tobacco and saddle leather that smoothly transitions to a lengthy finish of concentrated fruit and savory barrel characters. The unique blend of Malbec, Petit Verdot and Petite Sirah is robust, layered and complex.
Vineyard Notes
Due east of Napa, tucked away in northern Californias rolling Dunnigan Hills, is a little town called Zamora. But back in the late 1800s, folks around here used to call it Blacks Station. At its height, this hub founded by J.J. Black boasted a hotel, two stores, a jail, blacksmith shops and a town hall. Today we grow our grapes just three miles from Zamora. We like to think that they carry with them the character and frontier-style of that old town.
