Boroli 'Bussia' Barolo

Dry Red Table Wine

750 ML

Product Description

Wine produced with nebbiolo grapes coming from the municipality of Monforte. The colour is bright ruby red and on the nose it offers notes of raspberries, cherries preserved in alcohol and spicy nuances such as pepper and nutmeg. On the palate it is particularly pleasant, a wine with plenty of body, with a long and persistent finish. It is a long-tasting wine, matured in cask and barriques for 24 months and refined in bottle for 24 months. Serving temperature is 19-20°C and it is served with important meat dishes such as lamb, kid, boar, feathered game. It is excellent with ripe-strong cheeses and also after meal.

Varietal: Dry Red Table Wine

Region: Barolo

Region Description:

Considered the king of Italian wines, Barolo is made from the Nebbiolo grape in the Piedmont region of Italy. Full bodied, high in tannic, acidity, and alcohol, their aromas suggest tar, violets, roses, strawberries, even truffles. Very similar to, if a little more full-bodied than, Barbaresco. Barolos need to be aged for at least three years in the winery (five years if it is a Reserva), but benefits from additional aging. More recent vintages are fruitier in flavor, often a bit oaky, and may be ready to drink as soon as two to five years after release.
