The drinking of fine wines should be an integral part of today's trend toward gracious living. The purpose of Bacchus - The Minnesota Wine and Food Society  is to inform, engage, and guide our members so that we might better appreciate wine as a companion to fine foods and by itself. Through a familiarity with wine will come much pleasure and enjoyment.  Membership in Bacchus is a must for the discerning wine lover.

Our newsletter contains up-to-date news of the wine happenings throughout the world, information about our Societies wine tastings, announcement of the Bacchus wines, and notice of wine activities of interest to members.

MEMBER DISCOUNTS
Current discounts are as follows: 10% off wines not on sale, 5% of wines on sale and 15% off wines not on sale when purchasing 3 or more cases, and 10% off any cigar purchase.  Discounts do not apply to the Spring Nickel Sale, Fall Wine Sale, Futures orders or the release Nouveau Beaujolais.

WINE TASTINGS
We arrange frequent wine tastings, at least once per month, hosted by renowned world experts and by our staff of trained wine experts. These tastings have a minimum charge to defray the actual cost, depending on the types of wines and the location of the tasting.

WINE TOURS
Trips to wineries in California, Europe, and Australia  are scheduled for our members only. These trips are offered at a minimum charge based on the actual cost at a group rate.

BEER TASTINGS
Approximately twice per year, we offer a variety of beer tastings of speciality beers from around the world.

SCOTCH TASTINGS & MORE
The Bacchus Society offers tastings consisting of scotch, bourbon, armangac, port, and other liquor varieties throughout the year.

FINE WINE DINNERS
Bacchus sponsors gourmet dinners every year at the Twin Cities' finest restaurants.

COSTS

The enrollment fee of $30.00 is good for one year.  Bacchus members are under no obligation to purchase any wine or attend any tastings or tours. However, the Bacchus wine savings can pay for the cost of membership in one month and the low cost of group events provides an excellent opportunity to embark on the wonderful world of wine and food and meet many likeminded wine enthusists!

Renewal is ONLY $17.50 and is also good for one year.
