Drink Recipes

  Drink Description
Details Frozen Strawberrt Daiquiri This is a slightly different take of the rum original. Drained, canned strawberries may be used if fresh fruit is not in season, but be sure to wash off the sugar syrup before use.
Details Hard Case This is a small drink with a distinct fruity flavor.
Details Last Goodbye Cognac generally goes well with the flavors of cherry brandy and triple sec and that case stays true in this appealing drink.
Details Bayou This is a rich and fruity drink with lots of peach flavor and a refreshing sour finish.
Details Harvard This drink was invented at Harvard University sometime in the 1920s. The original recipe called for equal parts brandy and vermouth, but no lime juice. Today the recipe has changed slightly to give the drink a less sweet, but more balanced taste.
Details Between the Sheets This drink was created in the 1920s but saw a resurgence of popularity in the 1980s. This is a strong, sharp cocktail.
Details Stinger The Stinger is a highly adaptable drink that can easily be ported to whatever liquor suits your fancy. It is simply 2/3 any spirit you choose and 1/3 creme de menthe. Originally this drink was made using cognac as is illustrated in the following recipe.
Details Cognac Highball A pretty standard cognac drink, but that is in no way a bad thing.
Details Brandy Alexander This cocktail is know as a great pre-party drink or after dinner drink. The cream in this drink is great for settling down stomach acids and also lines the stomach.

Product Description

  • The world of 1914 has long vanished. In Europe the Czar's army was contesting Galicia with the Austrian army of Emperor Franz-Joseph. In USA Woodrow Wilson was promising to keep us out of the Great War. In Segonzac, Cognac a small group of women - the men had been called up to the army and were parrying the Kaiser's thrust toward Paris along the line of the Marne - distilled a small batch of cognac. In 1989 it was transferred from barrel to glass. When a spirit passes its three score and ten years in wood, it gives up its body and becomes something more of the aether. This cognac's small discrete aromas and flavors make it a spirit of finesse rather than power. Drier than those of today, it is incomparably more delicate, but has lost nothing in force.
